Metal fabrication machine, also known as patella machine, seam bite machine, undercut machine, air duct mouth machine, air duct bone machine, upright mouth machine, is a multifunctional machine, which is mainly used for bite processing of metal plate connection and round duct closed connection.
It can meet various bone shapes of air duct manufacturing. The thickness of the processed plate is 0.5-1.5mm. All gears, shafts, and rolls of the machine are made of high-quality steel. After strict heat treatment processes, the machine is durable and stable in quality. It has the characteristics of easy installation, beautiful appearance, reasonable mechanical principles, flexible movement, and convenient operation. It can meet users’ different requirements. The metal fabrication machines are divided into a multi-function nip machine, a joint angle mouth biting machine, a cutting mouth biting machine, a flat mouth biting machine, an elbow mouth biting machine, and an upright mouth biting machine. The mouthpiece structure consists of three parts: the feeding part, the transmission part and the forming part.
While using, the thickness of the metal fabrication machines should be within the scope of the product of various specifications. If it is less than the minimum thickness, it is easy to cause shortcomings such as tearing and wrinkling; if it is larger than the maximum thickness, the square of the thickness of the plate is inversely proportional. Due to the relatively large increase in bending force, abnormal damage to the forming rollers, overloading of the transmission system, and blocky cars can be caused. What’s more, the minimum length of the bite section of the plate should not be less than 300MM, otherwise, the degree of resistance during the bite will be greater than the frictional force of the forwarding sheet, so that the plate between the forming rollers slips and thus accelerates wear on the roll forming area. It should be noted that before use, the debugging of the feed rail should be strictly under the commissioning request of the equipment, and the feed rail should be adjusted to the designated position size and firmly. If the actual position of the feed rail is less than the designated position size, the bite will not be formed; if it is larger than the designated position size because the feed is too wide, the size of the bite will be too bad, causing the two plates to fail to bite or waste material; if the tilt of the feed rail is tight, it is easy to cause the deviation of uneven bite width.
The processing capacity of the metal fabrication machines is designed according to the processing of ordinary steel plates. The common thin steel plates, galvanized steel plates, and plastic composite steel plates all have good bite forming performance. The strength of the stainless steel plate is higher than that of ordinary steel plates. Before using the stainless steel plate to bite, it is necessary to conduct forming experiments to avoid overloading the metal fabrication machines and causing excessive wear or mechanical accidents. Due to the poor plasticity of the aluminum plate, it is easy to crack during the forming of the bite. A forming test must also be performed before construction. At the same time, because the aluminum plate lacks elasticity, the aluminum plate duct cannot be snapped.
